Description

In honor of those who safeguard our communities day and night, Fusion Firearms presents the Back the Blue Special Edition Freedom Reaction 1911 pistol. Fusing both purpose and style, this pistol upholds the power and performance of the Fusion Freedom Series, now with an exclusive design that proudly supports our police force. The Fusion Back the Blue Freedom Reaction 1911 pistol carries the same classic design based on the Original 1911 Series 70 Colt. The full-size 5″ government-style frame stands at the forefront of both action and defensive shooting, further embellished by Fusion’s aggressive “Sure-Grip” front and rear cocking serrations. Elevating the art of firearm craftsmanship, this special edition pistol is distinguished by its finely engraved “Back the Blue” insignia on the black cerakote finished aluminum grips. The engraving pays homage to the selfless dedication of law enforcement, showcasing Fusion’s commitment to exceptional design and detail. Maintaining the exceptional performance features of the Fusion Freedom Series, the Back the Blue edition also boasts an HD-chrome barrel, target-crowned for enhanced accuracy. The 1:16 twist ensures excellent precision and simplifies cleaning, while the classic commander ring hammer and beavertail grip safety ensure reliable operation. The extended combat thumb safety and slide stop further bolster security, accompanied by a tuned Power style extractor for dependable ejection of spent rounds. A beveled magazine well ensures swift reloading, supporting the pistol’s 10+1 mag capacity. Despite its sturdy all-steel construction, this special edition 1911 weighs only 39.05oz without the mag.
