OnGuard “classic” tritium night sights with sapphire protective windows have been used for decades by renowned US manufacturers, law enforcement agencies, and military units. They are battle-tested, reliable, and virtually indestructible. Onguard Sights now also offers these under its own brand in “superbright.” When filling the light inserts, more pressure is built up and more material (tritium) is added. This extends their service life by around 3 years. Millions of these inserts are manufactured in Lucerne. They are encapsulated in aluminum and protected by a sapphire window.
