Vintage and highly collectable Winchester Model 23 Pigeon Grade, 20 gauge, side by side shotgun. Ducks Unlimited 1983 Sponsor Gun of the Year, #73 of only 500 made!
This versatile shotgun is designed for looks and function! Single selective trigger, solid burl wood checkered beavertail forearm and buttstock with high gloss finish, rubber buttstock shoulder pad, round knob pistol grip and tang mounted safety/selector switch. 28" vented rib barrel with dual bead sights, 3" chambers with ejectors, Ducks Unlimited markings on the barrel and modified/full chokes. Has a bright coin finished receiver featured engraved scenes of waterfowl with light scroll flourishes and borders and a gold-inlaid Ducks Unlimited logo on the underside. Made in Japan.
These relics are truly unique and modern-day collector's items. All matching serial numbers. Comes housed in it's original Italian-made padded and cloth covered Ducks Unlimited case (lockable with 2 keys). Original cardboard shipping/storage box included as well.
New and unfired condition. May show very minor wear from storage in case. In mint condition. Refer to pics for condition details. We are limited to posting 10 photos but we can provide many more.
Purchased by a Ducks Unlimited member in 1983 and was in his private collection until 2021 when it was donated to Ducks Unlimited to be auctioned off at a charity event. At that time it was purchased by a Ducks Unlimited chapter Board Member and has been in his in his collection since and is now offered for sale on consignment. Sold as is.
