J.C. Higgins (Sears, Roebuck and Co.) Model 25 rifle in .22 LR. Sears model #583.2500 - no serial number.

Made for Sears under the "J.C. Higgins" brand name by High Standard based on their "Sport King Field Model A1041" sometime between 1959-1966.

22.25" long barrel, semi-auto with tube fed magazine, blued finish, one-piece lacquered walnut with a pistol grip, black plastic serrated buttplate, front and rear open sights. Includes a J.C. Higgins 4x scope and vintage J.C. Higgins soft vinyl rifle carry bag.

Overall in good condition. Typical dings/scratches/wear on the wood stock that you'd expect from use. No cracks. Refer to pics for condition (we are limited to posting 10 photos- more can be provided upon request).

Marking on left side of barrel read "J.C. Higgins Model 25 Pat. Pend." and below it "Sears Roebuck and Co. 583.2500". Markings on right side of barrel read "For .22 L.R. Only".

On consignment from a local estate. Has not been test fired by K3 Armory but we were told it functioned perfectly. Sold as is. More photos available upon request.
