J.C. Higgins/Sears/High Standard Vintage J.C. Higgins/Sears (High Standard) Model 10 12 GA Bolt Action Shotgun

J.C. Higgins/Sears, Roebuck and Co. "Model 583.23" bolt action 12 gauge shotgun. Made by High Standard as their "Model 10" in the ~ mid 1950s.

2 3/4" chamber, bolt action tube fed, 6-shot, 13 3/4" LOP, 1 piece smooth walnut stock, front brass bead sight with a "The Multy Choke" installed. 48 5/8" total length, 7.5 lb, buttstock pad. Includes original owners manual and a vintage J.C. Higgins soft vinyl carry bag. No serial number.

Overall in good condition. Typical dings/scratches/wear on the wood stock that you'd expect from use and age. No cracks. Refer to pics for condition (we are limited to posting 10 photos- more can be provided upon request).

Marking on left side of barrel read "J.C. Higgins - Model 583.23" and below it "Sears Roebuck and Co.". Markings on right side of barrel read "Proof Tested 12 GA." and "2 3/3 Chamber".

On consignment from a local estate. Has not been test fired by K3 Armory but we were told it functioned perfectly. Sold as is. More photos available upon request.
